Listen To Your Heart

I heard that song the other day.
Crazy I know, cause that song is like six years old but whatever,
it made me think about my future of course!
I have found that I think about/blog about my future a lot!
This is something I have been struggling with lately.
Big decisions have come my way and I have been trying to seek God's plan for my life.
I have to accept and understand that I am not in control and as much as I would like
to plan my own life, it is not up to me!
The only thing I can do is trust in God's Omnipotent power
and allow Him to use me for His will.
There are so many times when I think I know what is best for me,
but I always mess up and fail.
If I could just put my own pride and selfishness away
and leave everything in His hands,
I know I would be happy and satisfied with His plan.

On a different topic,
I have been working non-stop lately and I love it!
I forgot how much I like to work and stay busy!
Being a waitress is a great opportunity to meet new people, which I enjoy,
and it gives me something to do while I am home for the break!

I am excited to see all of my Tuscaloosa friends again,
I have missed them SO much!
Spending time with my family has been awesome though!
I have been so blessed with parents who put their trust in the Lord
and constantly encourage and teach me how to do the same!
My little Lulu is growing up so fast and I am proud of the beautiful young lady she has become!

Hope everyone realizes how blessed they are this holiday season!
Stay sweet!

Expectations

Life is full of disappointments.
I have come to realize that people will always let you down.
Your family, friends and acquaintances.
The expectations we have of people are overwhelming.
No one is perfect, we are all human and as humans, we all sin.

Thus I present my New Years Resolution:
I am going to TRY, I say try because I already
know it is going to be impossible, to not have such high or demanding
expectations of people.
I do not want to be constantly disappointed and unsatisfied.

Christmas reminds me that although we live in a world of sin and we all
fall short of the glory of God,
He gave us the most wonderful gift of all,
His Son.
By sending His ONLY Son to omit our sins,
we become clean and pure in God's eyes and by believing in Him,
we are promised eternal life.

So I hope all of you remember on this Christmas Day just
why we are celebrating,
today we were given the gift of all gifts,
a Savior who is Christ the Lord.

I will keep y'all updated on my quest to let go of expectations
and be happy with people and the life God has planned for me!

Happy Birthday Jesus!
Stay sweet!

Insomnia

So for about the past month or so I have been suffering from Insomnia.
I have tried over the counter sleeping pills, not watching TV before I go to sleep and all
other kinds of things that are recommended to help you sleep and
nothing is working!
It is three o'clock in the morning and I have baked a cake,
cleaned my room, done a load of laundry,
and now I am watching Despicable Me for the trillionth time since I got it Tuesday!
I figured since I have been working everyday on my feet
for at least five hours I would sleep at night!
Oh well!
I am still functioning so no damage is being done except
the fact that I LOVE to sleep and now I can't!

Oh and check out this AWESOME commercial on ESPN!

ROLL TIDE!

On a different note,
when I was at work today I was thinking about all the times
I have gone out to eat and either forgot or just didn't think about
tipping my server.
Now that I am on the other side of things,
TIP YOUR SERVERS!
I never realized how much work goes into preparing and making sure everything is perfect with your table.
Christmas is right around the corner!
I have been baking and cooking during my sleepless hours
and decorating our house!
I love the holidays!

Well I am off to finish watching my movie!
"Look at that fluffy unicorn! It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!"
Love it!

Can I Take Your Order Please?

Well ladies and gentlemen,
today I worked my first shift as a waitress!
Yes that's right, I got a job at a restaurant at home for Christmas break!
Of course I wish I could lay around all day and watch Law and Order: SVU,
but I figured I would make myself useful and bring in some dough.
Sorry I have been surrounded by the kitchen staff all night and they are cool like that!
Anyways, it was really fun and I think I will enjoy my time here!

I realized today how much I love people!
I like to meet new people and talk and hear their unique stories!
Yesterday I went to Target and I was browsing through the Christmas section
and ended up talking to one of the workers about her children and how she was
struggling to buy them gifts!
It is so touching to hear how everyone is going through different things
and we are all in various places in our lives,
yet the spirit of Christmas can bring us all together!

It has been unbearably cold lately and I cannot imagine what it feels like in Tuscaloosa!
Also I am starting my City Cafe withdrawals since today is Tuesday
and I should have eaten fried chicken, mac and cheese and fried okra today with Mel!
And do not even get me started about missing their sweet tea!

Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays!
Stay sweet!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

15 days til Christmas!
My apartment has been decorated since before Thanksgiving!
I could not help myself so I spent the weekend before Thanksgiving to put up lights,
make a wreath and wrap presents.
It was great!
We have white lights around our doors inside, mistletoe, a Christmas tree
with white lights and ornaments and poinsettias!

I love giving gifts.
Mama says it is my love language and she is so right!
Once I buy/make a gift for someone I cannot wait to give it to them!
I already gave my sister one of her presents before Thanksgiving!
Call me crazy but I love giving presents!

But with all this gift giving it is easy to get distracted from the real
reason for the season!
We all need to be reminded of the most precious gift of all,
Jesus Christ!
He left paradise to become a sacrifice for us!
This selfless gift from God shows us just how much he cares about us!
Thank you Lord for this awesome and powerful show of affection!

Turning in my final paper tomorrow!
Then Mary Ellen's 21st Birthday and finally going home!

Stay sweet!

Sometimes He Calms The Storm

I first heard this song about 10 years ago when my family lived in Sarasota, Florida.
My mom used to quote it all the time and I always loved the lyrics.
I love being reminded of the fact that God is in control of every situation.
By understanding that I am not in charge of my life gives me so much relief knowing that even
when I mess things up, everything is perfect in God's plan and there is
nothing I can do to destroy His design for my life.

As the lyrics say, sometimes He calms the storm and other times He calms His child.
God can bring you through any obstacle but at times He may chose to let the storm rage on,
and instead give you the shelter and protection you need.

I have been faced with some life changing decisions lately and I am trying to seek out God's plan for my life.
Obviously I am not very good at accepting the fact that He may not want me to know His plans right now,
and I have not been doing my best to be patient and trusting in Him.
I pray that by being faithful and believing in His Omnipotent power,
that He will show me His path for me in His time
and He will not let me wander down destructive roads.

Everyone remembers the story about Noah and how he had to trust in God's plan for Noah's ark.
Noah obeyed God's command to build the ark.
Noah trusted in God's plan for his life and did not let the distractions of this world deter
his faith in God's will.

I pray that I can have the same faith and reassurance in God's plan for my life as Noah did.
The representation of the rainbow reminds us that God keeps His promises,
and I rest in the fact that He holds my future and promises in Jeremiah 29:11
that He has plans to prosper me and not to harm me.

As hard as it is to wait on God,
I am so delighted in the fact that He will never leave me or abandon me.
I know that He always has my best interests at heart and if I just set my eyes and heart on Him,
He will direct my path.

Please pray that I may stay diligent in my wait for God's plan,
and make decisions that bring praise to Him.

This is my last week of school for the semester and I have a lot to get done,
so hopefully that will distract me from getting overwhelmed at not knowing my future.

I love you all!
Stay sweet!

Going to the Chapel

I never thought this day would come!
My best friend is engaged!
I am so excited to announce that Mary Ellen is engaged to
Thomas!
AAHH!
We are gonna have so much fun planning and celebrating!
Of course parties and weddings are right up my alley
and I know we are going to have a blast!

Unfortunately I missed the candlelight at the sorority house and came in late!
I was so upset but luckily Melissa had an impromptu
engagement party after so I got to hear
the story of how he proposed.
They are perfect for each other and I am so happy for both of them!

I am traveling to Auburn on Friday to watch Daphne play Hoover in the
high school football state championship.
Lu is so excited and since my high school didn't have a football team
it is kinda hard for me to get into it
but I am happy for her to have an exciting time in high school.
Hopefully Daphne can pull out a win!
Go Trojans!

Alaska!

I am going to Alaska ASAP!
Tonight I was watching Sarah Palin's Alaska
and it is SO beautiful!
They saw whales, eagles, sea otters and the mountains are gorgeous!
I am planning my trip so if you would like to join just let me know!

I spent most of the weekend working on my Christmas gifts!
I'm not gonna reveal what they are cause they haven't been distributed yet!
But I am really getting into the Christmas spirit!
I have played Christmas music all weekend
and I watched Elf, twice.
So yay for Christmas!
33 days til Christmas!

But we cannot look past Thanksgiving!
I love the turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and yeast rolls!
We always have hot apple cider and pumpkin pie too!
Then we watch football and just enjoy every one's company!
I am super excited to go home Tuesday cause I am taking my little sister
and cousins to see the new Disney movie Tangled!
I think I am more excited then they are!

Enjoy these festive times!
Stay sweet!

Don't Count Every Hour in the Day

Make every hour in the day count.

I have found that I am terrible with time management.
I mean I get things that I want done,
but when I don't want to do something,
I will find EVERY excuse not to do it!
I have done much better without the temptation of Facebook,
but now I have found other ways to distract myself.
This is going to be a constant struggle for me,
and I know that admitting to myself
that this is a problem will hopefully help me change!

I have however,
found time to see my long lost bff, Catherine!
We both have been so busy that we haven't made time
to see each other!
We had dinner two weeks ago and made a pact to meet up
at least once a week!
She is one of my best friends and I cannot stand
not seeing and talking to her!
Catherine is one of the most genuine and caring people I know
and every time I leave from hanging out with her
I feel so good about life and the people that I choose
to spend my time with!
I know she will always be a great friend for the rest of my life
and I am SO thankful for that!

Me and Cat dressed up for our Teachers and School Girls Swap!

Well I'm gonna go find a way to spend my time productively!

Chocolate, Coffee, Men - Some Things are Just Better Rich

Ok so I am not that shallow!
But I have been on a coffee kick lately!
I don't know what it is but once I drink a cup of coffee
I feel prepared for the rest of my day!
Being productive is so difficult sometimes but
coffee always helps me focus and get so much done!

I have also gotten off Facebook as well.
It is so nice not having the temptation to sit at my computer
and stalk people for hours!
I had my awesome roommate Taylor
change my password and only let me on when she knows
I don't have anything to do!

Went to Alabama football game last night!
I hate to say this but it was SO boring!
I could not stop yawning!
Nothing exciting happened except for a few good running touchdowns
but other then that it was so so.
They have got to step up their game asap!

For one of my classes we are collecting toys for the Boys and Girls Club.
I am really excited about this project
because I love children!
When me and Lu were little,
Mama would take us to pick out an Angel Tree Kid to buy
presents for during Christmas.
It was so much fun picking out toys for kids our age,
thinking about what we would want on
Christmas and being able to give them something they probably
would not receive!
Our family also would deliver toys from our church to kids in poverty situations.
I remember one time we went to house that was so run down,
and gave the kids parents a bike to give him on
Christmas and the woman broke down in tears.
Those kind of experiences really open your eyes to a whole new world,
especially as a kid.

Anyways if you want to help us collect toys,
there is a donation bin in Reese Phifer Hall.

Hope everyone has a great week!

When Life Gives You Lemons...

Put them in your sweet tea,
and thank God you are a Southern Belle!
The smell of fall is in the air and I could not be more excited!
I love the crisp cold weather, the changing leaves, Alabama football,
and boots/sweater fashions!
YAY for fall!
As Thanksgiving approaches, I cannot help but think about how I have been blessed.
God has given me the best family and friends a girl could ask for
and I would not be the person I am today
without them!
Although I do get anxious about my future,
I know that God has great plans in store for me
and I have an awesome support system in my
family and friends!

I spent this past weekend with the fam,
we went to Lu's high school football game and then got some pizza!
It was fun seeing her and all her friends enjoying their high school years together!
We watched the Alabama game, no comment,
and Mama took me and Lu for mani/pedis!
Being with them overflowed my love tank
and I came back to ttown feeling renewed and loved!

Well I am off to class! Enjoy this amazing southern weather!

Stay Sweet!

Many Men Will Drink The Rain...

And turn to thank the clouds
Many men will hear You speak
But they will never turn around

I will not forget You are my God, my King
And with a thankful heart I bring my offering
And my sacrifice is not what You can give
But what I alone can give to you

Just thought I would share that with y'all!
I have been swamped with school stuff these past few weeks so blogging has taken a back seat!
I got my bff/roommate Taylor to change my Facebook password and only let me on when she knew I didn't have any school work!
It is amazing how much you get done without so many distractions!

Alabama lost their first game since the Sugar Bowl in 2009!
They didn't play very well against Ole Miss this past weekend either!
They have got to get it together if we want to end the season right!

The parents came up for this past weekend!
It was Homecoming so there was a lot going on!
We went to the pep rally and bonfire Friday night!
If it had been just a tad colder it would have been perfect!

Before the game the three of us went to Gallettes and got one of their famous drinks, a Yellow Hammer!
It was strange having my parents in an environment that I usually associate with college and not family!
We walked down Sorority Row to look at all the lawn decorations.
I wasn't much help at Alpha Chi, I had a lot of homwork and tests!
Alpha Chi did pretty well in all of the Homecoming Events, although we didn't win the whole thing!
We did get something just as exiting, a Homecoming Queen!
Congrats Shellie! You totally deserve the crown and we are SO proud of you!

Anyways, thought I would give y'all a quick update on my life!

Tale As Old As Time

Well I am finishing up my 30 day challenge today!
I have enjoyed sharing with y'all and I hope you will continue to read my updates!

Day 29: Your favorite movie
What a coincidence that one of my favorite movies just came out on DVD yesterday!
Of course I rushed to get it!
When I was little that only movie I would watch was Beauty and the Beast!
It is still one of my favorites and I was SO excited when I found out it was coming out on DVD!
It brought back so many memories when I watched it again for the first time in...well like ten years!!

My other favorite movie is The Patriot!
Mel Gibson does an amazing job and Heath Ledger (RIP) is so good looking!

Day 30: A picture of yourself and three good things that has happened in the past 30 days
This is the only recent picture I have because my camera is broken!
I have learned a lot about myself in the last thirty days!
But I think the most important thing I learned is that I need to strengthen my trust in the Lord.
I tend to have a lot of anxiety when I think about my life and my future and I have got to let that go and know that God is in control and He only wants the best for me!

Til next time!

Study, Study, Study

Coffee, coffee, coffee!
Ah!
I got up this morning at 7:30!
That is a new record for me getting up just to study!
Got me some Starbucks and hit the books!
I have a big Public Relations test tomorrow and I have got to do well!

Day 27: A picture of you last year and a picture of you now, how have you changed since then?
This is from Formal 2009.

This was taken at one of my cookouts summer 2010.
A lot of things have changed about me since 2009.
I have lost then gained weight, cut and dyed my hair, etc.
I think most of all I have grown up.
I have learned a lot about myself in the past year.
By figuring out my strengths and weaknesses, I believe that I have become/am becoming (it's a process)
the person God wants me to be.
Nobody is perfect and I believe that you learn from your mistakes.

Gotta get back to studying now!
Love y'all!
Stay sweet!

HEY GATORS...

WE JUST BEAT THE HELL OUTTA YOU!
What an awesome game yesterday!
I thought it would more of a fight but Alabama was out in full force and dominated the field!
Daddy and I went to the strip before the game and got some lunch
and then headed to the quad to tailgate.
It was a BEAUTIFUL day in God's country for some Alabama football!
Alabama scored on their first drive and we were so excited!
Florida tried to do a Tebow-move and it got SHUT DOWN by the Alabama defense!
After that it was a shut out and we beat those gators 31-6!
ROLL TIDE!

Day 25: What is in your purse
I always carry my wallet, I just got a new Hobo wallet for my birthday from my wonderful friends!
I also have pens and lip gloss, the usual.
And of course my cell phone!

Day 26: A photo of somewhere you have been

This is in Jamaica when I went on a cruise after graduation from high school!
We went to Haiti, the Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Mexico.
It was a blast and I hope to go back soon!

I have a huge test Tuesday so I am gonna get back to studying!

A Lamp Unto My Feet and A Light Unto My Path

It's been a rough week to say the least but I firmly believe that I am finally
on the right path that God has made for me!
Please keep me in your prayers that I might stay on this path
and please my Heavenly Father!

I won't be updating as much anymore but I do want to finish my 30 day challenge!
Day 23: 15 Facts about me
1. I was born in South Florida full of Alabama blood!
2. I went to my first Alabama football game as an infant!
3. My toenails have to be painted at all times
4. I love to cook
5. I love to bake
6. I love food in general!
7. I hate cats!
8. I love my king size bed and will never sleep in anything smaller!
9. My little sister is my best friends!
10. I can't wait to have kids of my own!
11. My pillow goes everywhere with me
12. I have only seen snow once...when it snowed in Alabama!
13. I have found my bridesmaids at Alabama
14. Law and Order SVU is my all time favorite TV show!
15. Fall is my favorite season: football, cold weather, scarves, did I mention football?

Day 24: A photo that means a lot to you
This is one of my babies in Mexico!
I have been to the same orphanage in Mexico three times and I am dying to make it back soon!
Going on a missions trip defiantly changes your outlook on life.
I went down there to help and change the kids lives but they helped me so much more!

Well that's all for now!
ROLL TIDE!

A Penny For My Thoughts, Oh No I'll Sell Them For A Dollar

I'm up late I know, but I am trying to study and got distracted by my lack of dedication for this blog!
I don't know why I am such a slacker on making sure I update everyday but I just am!
Sorry!
So to get things back on track AGAIN,
I am gonna have to cover a few days!
Bear with me!

Day 19: A picture of yourself
This is from Easter last year when me and Lu got creative and dyed Easter eggs!
I was real excited about it as you can tell!

Day 20: The meaning behind your blog name
Well I have already kinda of talked about this in my very first blog but I will share again!
I believe that God is in control of our lives.
I am comforted by the fact that God has a plan for my life and no matter what road I chose,
He will lead me back to Him.
So I take life one step at a time because I want to make sure I am walking the path that God
has chosen for me.
I also want to enjoy our life here on earth and savor God's amazing work.
But I am also so looking forward to spending eternity with Him in heaven so it kinda goes both ways!

Day 21: A photo of something that makes you happy

This is my family outside my family.
Let me break it down for you:
When I was just a little tot of 4, my mom met Ms. Tina when I was taking swim lessons with her daughter at the YMCA.
They bonded and me and Christina became best friends!
Then we started going to the same church where we met Mrs. Holly.
The three women became life long friends and the rest is history!
Our three families, which have grown to include many wonderful children, go on vacation every year since we all live in different cities and do not get to see each other often.
I consider both of these friends more than just family friends, I consider them family.
I know that if anything went wrong or I needed a place to stay or just get a home cooked meal (Ms. Tina)
all I have to do is call them up and they would be there no matter what!
I love y'all!!

Day 22: A letter to someone who has hurt you recently
Well I cannot think of anyone who has hurt me recently.
I am pretty tough and it takes a lot to hurt/make me angry.
I think I hurt myself more than anyone but I won't bore y'all with my own drama!

I think that catches us up to date!
Sorry for such a long post!
Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
Stay sweet!

Many Are The Plans of the Human Heart...

But it is the Lord's purpose that prevails!
Proverbs 19:21
This has become one of my favorite verses lately!
I love knowing that no matter what crazy plans or ideas I come up with, God's will is greater then my best decision.

Once again I have been slacking with this 30 day challenge!
So I am gonna catch y'all up again!

Day 16: Your celebrity crush
Well that is easy, Law and Order: SVU is my FAVORITE TV show and Stabler is my favorite person on the show so it has got to be Christopher Meloni!
Sure he is a little old but he is a hottie! aah

Day 17: A picture of you and your family
This is the best picture of our family hopefully we can get a better one in the future!

Day 18: Something you crave a lot
Well I crave a lot of things but above all it would probably be humus and pretzels/celery and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Especially Blue Bell mint chocolate chip. It is the best!

Well I am about to start a crazy week but hopefully I can keep this thing updated!
ROLL TIDE by the way! What a good game!
Stay sweet!

I'm A Slacker...

So I have been pretty distracted these past couple of days so this is gonna be one big post!
Enjoy!

Day 11: What is in your makeup bag?
Well I use liquid foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, all my brushes, eye lash curler, tweezers, and my pencil sharpener.
I got a Vera Bradly makeup bag for my high school graduation and I love it!
It is really dirty though cause I spill things a lot!

Day 12: A photograph of the town you live in.
Since I grew up in Pensacola, FL I consider that my hometown and it is where I tell people I am from, BUT
my family moved to Daphne, AL after I moved off to UA for school.
So technically I live in Tuscaloosa, AL for school but I go home to Daphne and I am from Pensacola...gah so complicated!
So I am just gonna post pictures of all three!

Day 13: Your favorite musician and why.
RASCAL FLATTS is my all time favorite band ever!
I love how I can relate to the songs!
They sing about life, love and everything in between!
You can jam out and belt all of their songs at the top of your lungs!
I have seen them four times in concert and they are awesome!

Day 14: A TV show you are currently addicted to.
GLEE!
If you have not seen Glee yet, you have got to watch it!
It is like a musical TV series!
They do currant and old songs!
It is great!

Day 15: Something you don't leave the house without!
Obviously my cell phone, keys and wallet!
I also almost always take my sunglasses and ipod!

I also celebrated my 22nd birthday yesterday!
We had a big group of friends go eat!
It was a ton of fun!
Thanks to my loving friends and family for making it a birthday to remember!
Stay sweet!

Day 10: A Photo of Your Favorite Place to Eat

So today is a picture of your favorite place to eat!
I love trying new places and I really don't have a favorite but if I had to choose it would be a tie between Chick-fil-a and Newks.

I love Chick-fil-a nuggets, fries and sweet tea!
Newks has so many good things on their menu but my favorite is their Cobb salad!

Til tomorrow!

Day 9: A Photo of the Item You Last Purchased

Story of my life...I'm trying to write a paper for tomorrow and what do you know I cannot concentrate!
So I am going to go ahead and do day 9 of 30 for my blog challenge!
Today is a picture of the item I last purchased...since I am on a budget it was probably toilet paper or something boring!
Haha thought I would give you a funny!

On another topic, I want to rave about the guy who waited to hold the door for me at the top of the stairs into Reese Phifer.
I was at the bottom and he was half way up the stairs, he turned around, saw I was coming and held the door til I went through and then went through himself!
I was so impressed!
Most people say chivalry is dead.
This guy proved that it isn't!
To me the most attractive thing about a guy is how he treats the people around him.
Maybe it is my southern upbringing and being told that guys should ALWAYS hold doors, walk on the outside of the sidewalk, pay for the first date(if he asked) and act like a gentleman.
I think that it says a lot about a guy if he is a true gentleman.
And girls, if we expect them to act this way, be nice and grateful when they do!
If anyone, guy or girl, holds the door open for me I make sure to always say thank you and sound like I mean it!
A random act of kindness can make someones day without you even knowing it!
It's almost Friday! YAY!
Stay sweet!

Day 8: A Song to Match Your Mood

Well I am extremely tired from study all night long so that would be a boring song and I don't want to bore you at all!
So I am sharing my new favorite song and artist!

New favorite song: If I Die Young by The Band Perry

Love this song!

My new favorite artist is Dave Barnes!
He is not well known but his songs are so good!

Love him too!

Well I am off to finish studying! Hope everyone is having a great hump day(aka Wednesday)!

Day 7: Your Dream Wedding

Day 7: Your Dream Wedding!
Well this would be a lot easier and more fun if I was actually getting married sometime soon...
not that I haven't done some planning!!

Venue:
The Bragg-Mitchell Mansion in Mobile, AL

I want the ceremony and reception here!

Food:
My uncle does catering and he is amazing! My menu would consist of fried chicken, mac and cheese, crab cakes, shrimp, french fries, lots of great southern food. Our family friend Olga makes awesome cakes and I would ask her to make a red velvet with cream cheese icing cake!

Music:
I am so down for a DJ to play my favorite songs so we can dance all night!

Colors:
Bridesmaid dresses would be purple cotton short dresses and groomsmen would wear khaki suits and everyone would wear cowboy boots! I want sunflowers so I would incorporate some yellow and green into the reception.

Day 6: A Photo of an Animal You’d Love to Keep as a Pet.

It's Monday...BOO! This week shouldn't be too bad, I just have one big paper due Thursday!
Today's challenge is a picture of an animal I would love to keep as a pet. I was trying to think out of the box since everyone usually wants tigers and alligators and stuff.
I chose a panda bear!

They are just so cute and look like they would be fun to cuddle with!

Happy Monday!
Y'all stay sweet!

Days 2, 3 and 4...Roll Tide!

So...I'm a slacker! Here are days 2, 3 and 4!

Day 2: A Photo of something you ate today

Ok so I had a hot dog and it looked nothing like this, but my camera is acting up right now so this will have to do! I love hot dogs loaded with ketchup and mustard! It was left over from the other night when we cooked out so it was grilled to perfection!

Day 3: Your idea of the perfect date
My idea of the perfect date would be dinner first and then something fun after maybe a movie or ice cream. I want to get to know the person so doing something where we could talk and have fun is the ideal first date!

Day 4: Your favorite photograph of your best friend
I have lots of best friends so I am just going to post all of them!

Mel and Kell!

Me and the Roomie Taylor!

Ansley, Me and Mary Ellen dressed up for TV Characters Swap!

My love Catherine and I!

I know she is my sister but she also my best friend! Me and Lulu!

So hopefully that will catch me up for now! I promise not to be so lazy next time!
I'm about to get ready for the Penn St. vs. Alabama game!
ROLL TIDE!

Stay sweet!

30 Day Challenge!

Just a picture to get everyone pumped up for the game Saturday!
ROLL TIDE!

I should be studying for my Public Relations test but I got distracted and figured I could use a break anyways! I was reading my bff Cat's blog and she started a 30 day blogging challenge the other day and I thought it was such a cool idea! I found some different questions for mine so I wouldn't be copying her!
So here it goes!
Day 1 – A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.

Here I is! This is my favorite dress and earrings my friend brought back from Belgium!

Today was boring and uneventful! I got to sleep in (yay!), worked on a paper for next week and then had class from 3 til 6. I had dinner at the Alpha Chi house, it was baked chicken, rice and rolls to die for! SO GOOD! We had chapter right after dinner. It is nice to know that I will see all my friends at least once a week at chapter! And now I am studying for this test and will probably be up for a while! Wish me luck!
Stay sweet!

This Is Alabama Football

Roll Tide

This video = goosebumps!
Great opening weekend for college football! I never realized how much I love college football until yesterday! I love everything about it! Tailgating, the quad, all the fans on campus, the band, the crimson and white shakers, the yell of Roll Tide across the quad and of course our AMAZING new stadium! AH! Daddy and Lu came up for the game against San Jose State. It was a blowout 48-3 and the Crimson Tide looked awesome! Can't wait to see what the rest of the season brings! I know it is too early to predict but I'm thinking we are in a good position for some more titles!

Can I get a ROLL TIDE?
